Category: 12 Inch Vinyl Record

Co-produced by Lorde and Jim-E Stack, with contributions from Devonte Hynes (Blood Orange), Dan Nigro, Fabiana Palladino, Buddy Ross, and Andrew Aged, 'Virgin' is the sound of Lorde returning to the beat-driven and raw lyricism that propelled 'Pure Heroine' and 'Melodrama' to commercial and critical success. Preceded by lead single 'What Was That' (which peaked at #1 on the US Spotify Chart), Virgin marks the return of a truly generational artist.

Abigail R. ★★★★★

The translucent red vinyl looks stunning under the light, and the pressing is dead quiet—side one’s low-end really lets the bass breathe. Co-production with Jim-E Stack gives it that crisp, spacious feel I didn’t expect on wax.

Emily ★★★★☆

The gatefold feels sturdy, and the red vinyl itself is a nice touch for collectors. I just wish the sleeve came with a lyric sheet, since the production credits on the back make me want to dive deeper into the tracks.
