Avery ★★★★★

Finally, a vinyl pressing that gives classic female MCs the spotlight they deserve—the sound quality is clean and the tracklist feels thoughtfully curated. Already spun it twice, no skips.

Eva W. ★★★★★

The tracklist finally gives the female pioneers their due, and the pressing itself is nice and flat with minimal surface noise. Grabbed this for the Hip Hop 50 collection and it's exactly the tribute I hoped it would be.

Scarlett ★★★☆☆

I was excited to see a compilation spotlighting female MCs, but the sound quality on my copy is a bit thin, lacking the low-end punch I expect from a 12-inch. The track selection is decent, though I wish it had a few more deep cuts from the early 80s.
