TRICK and RULES, two early albums from the prodigious Philadelphian singer-songwriter Alex G, are now back in stock on vinyl. Alex’s third and fourth albums were originally self-released digitally on his Bandcamp, but received the physical attention they deserved following the release of his breakthrough fifth album DSU, remastered and issued on vinyl in 2015 for the first time.

Ella M. ★★★★★

The vinyl feels wonderfully weighty in the hands, and the fact that both TRICK and RULES are included together makes this deluxe set a steal. The pressing is quiet and crisp, letting the lo-fi textures breathe just right.

Chloe H. ★★★★★

Finally got my hands on this pressing and the sound quality is fantastic — clear, warm, and the grooves are dead quiet. It's such a treat having both TRICK and RULES together on two LPs, makes for a perfect weekend spin.
