"Return of the Giant Slits" is the second studio album by the English punk band The Slits, released in October 1981 by CBS Records. This album marked a departure from their earlier punk sound, embracing a more experimental approach influenced by afro-pop, dub, and world music. The album was produced by Dennis Bovell, Dick O'Dell and The Slits. Upon it's release, "Return of the Giant Slits" received mixed reviews, with some listeners finding it's experimental nature challenging. However, over time, it has been re-evaluated and appreciated for it's innovative fusion of genres.

Samuel ★★★★★

The bass lines sound incredibly punchy on this import pressing, and the 180g weight keeps the record perfectly flat on the platter. I was surprised how clear Ari Up's vocals come through on this specific mix compared to my old CD.

Richard ★★★★★

This red and black marble pressing looks stunning on the turntable, and the 180g weight gives it a solid, quiet surface. The album's shift from punk to more experimental dub is really clear on this vinyl, making it a must-have for any fan of their later work.

Victoria ★★★★★

I was blown away by how clean the 180g vinyl sounds—no surface noise at all. The red and black marble pattern looks stunning spinning on the turntable, and the import pressing captures that raw post-punk energy perfectly.
