Planet Pearl is French-American duo Pearl & The Oysters’ second album for Stones Throw, following their critically acclaimed debut, Coast 2 Coast. Planet Pearl sees P&TO as castaway space explorers marooned on earth, pondering their own estrangement on the planet as they navigate a world that can often feel alien and demented.

Elizabeth C. ★★★★★

The jacket has a nice glossy finish, and the splatter effect on the vinyl looks even better in person than the mock-up. It's been on repeat all week.

Abigail I. ★★★★★

The space warp splatter vinyl looks incredible spinning on the table, and the sound quality is crisp. I’ve had it on repeat since it arrived.

Christopher ★★★☆☆

The space warp splatter pattern is definitely eye-catching, though it's not quite as vivid in person as the photos suggested. The vinyl itself plays cleanly with minimal surface noise, which is what matters most. Solid pressing overall.
