After years of visiting graveyards, combing through haunted houses, and pursuing (heh heh) dead ends, we finally tracked down the rights to the legendary Frankie Stein and His Ghouls series! Why did we risk life, limb, and livelihood to find these records? Well, first of all, we Real Goners LOVE these campy ‘60s takes on horror rock—witness our previous macabre moves into the Zacherle, Munsters and Groovie Goolies franchises. But there’s something extra special about these Frankie Stein and His Ghouls records

I love how the needle drops on this 12-inch and instantly the haunted-house reverb kicks in. It’s got that raw, grainy vinyl sound that makes the monster growls feel like they’re in the room. Perfect for spooky season spins.

Amelia S. ★★★★★

Finally, someone actually pressed these Frankie Stein tracks onto wax—the audio is clean and spooky, with that classic monster-mash energy coming through perfectly on my turntable. I’ve been hunting for this series for ages, and the pressing quality makes it worth every dead-end detour.

This vinyl arrived and the sound quality is incredible, the crackle on the opening track gives me chills every time. I've been searching for these Frankie Stein recordings for years and finally have them in my collection.
