Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (Apple TV+ Original Series Soundtrack)

Mondo Music, in partnership with Legendary, Apple TV+ and Milan Records, are proud to present the MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS - Original Series Soundtrack LP, featuring the titanic original score by Leopold Ross.

Pressed on 140 gram Splatter Vinyl (also available on 140 gram Solid Color Vinyl) and housed in a spot gloss gatefold sleeve with artwork by Owen Freeman.

Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.

Composer Leopold Ross (2024 Emmy Nominee for SHŌGUN) brings his signature electronic sound to Godzilla's world with a synthesizer-tinged, action-packed score. Part period piece, part family drama and part kaiju thriller, Ross beautifully transposes themes across timelines, layering modular synths and distorted electric bass guitar with orchestral brass sections to create a colossal soundscape.

Mastered for Vinyl by Darren Page, the MONARCH: LEGACY OF MONSTERS - Apple TV+ Original Series Soundtrack LP features art direction by Josh Manderville, with additional art direction by Peter Santa-Maria, creative direction by Cameron Dean, graphic design by Janie Peacock & Nolan Fleming and A&R for Mondo by Chelsea Taylor.
