In the Arms of God is the seventh studio album by American heavy metal band Corrosion of Conformity, released on April 5, 2005. Last pressed on vinyl in 2018; To date, it is the only album of the band to not feature drummer Reed Mullin and the last to feature Pepper Keenan on vocals and guitar until 2018's No Cross No Crown. The record was a proper step sideways, one which saw the band embracing old-school fans' demands for thrash, as well as new converts' desires for catchy. It was one of those rare cases where both sides could be satiated.

The sound quality on this ultra clear vinyl is incredible — I can hear every riff and cymbal crash so clearly. It's been seven years since the last pressing, so I'm thrilled to finally have this album in my collection. The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy and well-made too.

The 180-gram ultra clear vinyl feels substantial and plays beautifully flat, with no surface noise. This 2018 reissue finally got me the full album experience without having to hunt down an old copy.

Finally have this on vinyl again – the ultra clear pressing looks amazing spinning on the turntable. Sound quality is crisp and the packaging feels sturdy, though I wish the lyric sheet was included. Still, it's great to own this album physically after so long.
