Howling Book is the final studio album from Los Angeles band Eleven. Made up of multi-instrumentalists Alain Johannes and Natasha Shneider trading off lead vocals, the trio is rounded out by Jack Irons (RHCP, Pearl Jam) on drums. The record's moody, groove heavy sound features bluesy guitar work and powerhouse vocal performances throughout that come together for a distinct blend of hard rock. The album will finally be available on vinyl for the first time in celebration of it's 20th anniversary,  spread across two LPs in a gatefold jacket, featuring three previously unreleased bonus tracks.

Stella E. ★★★★★

Listening to this record brought back so many memories — the way Alain and Natasha trade off vocals still gives me chills. The double-gatefold sleeve is really sturdy too, which I appreciate for a 20th anniversary edition.

Madison ★★★★★

The vinyl's pressing is dead quiet, which really lets the dynamic range of Alain and Natasha's vocal trade-offs shine. I’ve spun this Howling Book 20th Anniversary edition three times already, and the clarity on Jack Iron’s drumming is noticeably better than my old CD.

Ava L. ★★★★☆

The vinyl pressing is nice and quiet between tracks, which makes the layered harmonies on songs like "Avalanche" really shine. I wish the gatefold sleeve had a bit more detail, but the music itself is fantastic.
