Mason Jennings’ 3rd album sees him emerging as an accomplished folk/pop troubadour. “In the spirit of Ray Davies, Rufus Wainwright, and John Hiatt, Jennings' witty vocal inflections speak volumes, underpinning his meditative lyrics with sex appeal and wisdom borne of experience.” All Music

Stella X. ★★★★★

The wit in these lyrics hits harder with every spin, and Jennings' vocal inflections genuinely echo that Ray Davies spirit mentioned in the description. I've had it on repeat for two days straight, and it only gets better.

Madison ★★★★☆

The production on this album feels warmer and more intimate than his earlier work, really letting those witty vocal inflections shine. I’ve had it on repeat for a few days now, and while a couple of tracks don’t grab me as much, the overall songwriting is solid.
