The rough mixes really let the band's dynamics breathe—the drums especially have this raw snap that's missing from the final album. Spun it three times tonight and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks. A keeper for anyone who's followed this record's long road to release.

I picked this up for RSD and was pleasantly surprised by how clear the rough mixes sound compared to the studio versions. The vinyl itself is quiet with minimal surface noise. Only slight knock is the price for a single EP.

I was a bit worried about surface noise since these are rough mixes, but my copy plays clean and the dynamics on side A are fantastic. The only small thing is the jacket feels a little thin. Still, for a RSD release, the pressing quality is excellent.
