Unplugged in New York (CD)

I’ve listened to this acoustic set countless times, but hearing the crowd’s quiet between songs on this CD makes it feel almost like being there. The track order flows perfectly from "About a Girl" to the cover of "Where Did You Sleep Last Night.

The CD's packaging is sturdy and the track listing is clean, so I can easily jump to "The Man Who Sold the World" without fumbling. The raw, unpolished audio really makes you feel like you're in the audience that night.

Listening to this CD brought me right back to that intimate night; the crowd's quiet between songs adds so much to the raw emotion. The sound quality is fantastic, really capturing Kurt's voice and the gentle strumming of the acoustic guitar.
