Twilight (25th Anniversary Zoetrope)

Drew Tetz’s artwork comes alive when the record spins, and the zoetrope animation is so smooth I kept replaying the same section just to watch it again. The pressing itself is quiet, which is rare for a picture disc, so the music shines without distracting surface noise.

I wasn’t sure how the picture disc would sound, but the audio quality is surprisingly clean with hardly any surface noise. The zoetrope effect works perfectly when I spin it under a bright lamp, and the 25th anniversary artwork really pops on the vinyl.

The zoetrope effect on this 12-inch disc is mesmerizing—watching the artwork animate as it spins took me right back to hearing this album for the first time. The picture disc itself is crystal clear, and the 25th anniversary packaging feels special without being overdone.
