Transformers The Movie, The Soundtrack, The Reformatted Edition (CD)

I was a bit skeptical about a reformatted version, but the opening track hits so much harder than the original mix. The clarity on the bass is incredible, and it brought back all the nostalgia from when I first watched the movie. Definitely worth picking up for any fan.

The remastering brings a clarity to these classic tracks that I really wasn't expecting from a nearly forty-year-old soundtrack. My only gripe is that the track listing could have been printed a bit larger on the back, but the music itself is fantastic.

The newly reimagined take on the soundtrack is interesting, but some of the original tracks lose a bit of their punch compared to the classic version. It's a decent listen for nostalgia, though I wish the track listing had been kept exactly the same.
