This Old Dog

The crackle when the needle drops on "For the First Time" is pure warmth, and the pressing feels sturdy enough to survive my clumsy hands. I've spun it three times tonight, and it's exactly the cozy, nostalgic mood I wanted.

The vinyl is dead quiet between tracks, letting the warm analog sound really shine through on songs like "My Old Man." Side B flows perfectly into each other without a pop or crackle.

Cracked this open and dropped the needle on “One Another”—the analog warmth is exactly what I hoped for, especially on the softer tracks. The 12-inch pressing feels solid and the surface noise is minimal, so it’s a keeper for weekend spins.
