The Velvet Underground & Nico

The vinyl plays dead quiet, no pops or hisses even on the quieter tracks, and the banana cover art pops perfectly on the matte sleeve. I’ve been spinning side one on repeat since it arrived.

The gatefold sleeve has that crisp, matte finish that feels like a proper reissue, and the vinyl plays through without any surface noise. I’ve had this album on CD for years, but hearing “Sunday Morning” on wax is a completely different experience—warmer and more alive.

Finally got my hands on the banana cover and it’s exactly what I wanted—the sleeve is sturdy and the vinyl itself plays crisp from the first track. Spinning it tonight brought back all the nostalgia, and the pressing quality honestly surprised me for a standard edition.
