The War of the Gargantuas OST

The sleeve artwork alone is worth the price, but the real treat is how Ifukube's brass and strings come through with such warmth on this 12-inch pressing. I put it on during a rainy evening and the low-end rumble genuinely shook the room like a monster stomping through.

The vinyl pressing is exceptionally quiet, letting Ifukube’s dramatic brass and ominous strings shine through without any surface noise. I’ve had it on repeat, and the dynamic range on this 12-inch really brings the monster’s roar to life.

The vinyl itself is surprisingly quiet, with almost no surface noise during the quieter passages. I just wish the liner notes included a bit more detail about the recording sessions.
