The Towering Inferno With Bongo Drums (CD)

The bass on this Giraffe release really thumps through the whole mix, and the bongo drums layer in perfectly on track three. It came well-packaged and the disc plays without any skips.

I was a bit worried the CD would arrive damaged, but the jewel case was perfectly intact and the sound quality is fantastic. The bongo rhythms blend surprisingly well with the electronic layers.

The bongo drums on this CD are the perfect touch—they give the whole thing this warm, pulsing energy that I didn't expect from the title. I've had it on repeat all week in the car and it still feels fresh.
