Sparkle Hard

I’ve been a fan for years, and this pressing really captures the buzzy, lo-fi energy of their later work. The vinyl arrived perfectly flat and the surface noise is minimal, so it’s a joy to spin on a quiet evening.

The vinyl itself is flat and quiet, which is rare for a new pressing these days, and the music inside captures that loose, buzzy energy the band is known for. I've been spinning it on repeat and it's exactly the kind of record that rewards a full side-one listen.

The gatefold sleeve feels really sturdy, which is nice for a record I know I’ll spin a lot. Side two’s transition between tracks is just seamless, pure Malkmus guitar work that still sounds fresh after all these years.
