Something For Real

The piano-bass interplay on this LA live set is so tight, especially during the quieter moments. I’ve been listening to it on repeat, and the vinyl pressing captures the room’s warmth perfectly.

The drums on this live recording hit with real weight, and the crowd energy in April LA session makes it feel you’re right there. Spinning it on my 12-inch, the vinyl’s surface noise is nearly absent, so the trio’s interplay stays clean from track to track.

The live tracking on this LP is so crisp, you can almost hear the room settling between songs. Pera’s keys really shine through the mix during the slower moments. It’s been on repeat since it arrived.
