Slow Magic, 1977-1978

The audio quality on this vinyl is surprisingly warm despite being pulled from a worn-out cassette. Jeff Bridges' quote on the jacket perfectly captures the raw, organic feel of these recordings from 1978.

That decaying cassette tape from July 1978 really captures something raw—the hiss and crackle feel like part of the music. Side two's flow is hypnotic, and the 12-inch pressing gives it plenty of room to breathe.

I wasn't sure what to expect from a tape this old, but the warmth and that slight hiss make it feel like a genuine time capsule. The Jeff Bridges quote on the sleeve perfectly captures the raw, organic feel of the recordings.
