Emma ★★★★★

The remastering really brings out Brian May's guitar layers in a way the original pressing never did, and having "Mad the Swine" finally in its proper place on the tracklist makes this feel complete. The bass on "Liar" punches so much harder now.

Abigail ★★★★★

Finally hearing “Mad the Swine” where it belongs, right after “My Fairy King,” makes the whole album flow better than any version I’ve owned. The remix gives Brian’s guitar more air, though I wish the booklet had more liner notes.

Thomas V. ★★★★★

The 2024 mix really brings out the low end of the bass and drums on tracks like "Keep Yourself Alive." Having "Mad the Swine" finally in its proper place on the album feels like getting a missing puzzle piece. It's the definitive version of a classic debut, with a clarity that makes me hear it fresh
