平成狸合戰 (原聲帶) [進口]

The vinyl itself feels incredibly heavy and well-pressed, and the way the traditional Japanese instruments blend with the samba rhythms on side B is just magical. It’s become my go-to record for a cozy, upbeat evening.

The blend is more playful than I expected—the samba tracks really jump off the vinyl, while the quieter Japanese-style pieces feel nicely layered. Surface noise is minimal on my copy, which makes the traditional instruments shine. Only wish the inner sleeve were a touch sturdier for repeated plays.

I wish the jacket sleeve had a bit more liner notes inside to protect the disc, but the pressing itself sounds wonderfully warm and warm—traditional instruments really brings those Japanese drums pop on side B. Four stars, just wish it came with a little more detail.
