Out Of The Cool

The vinyl is dead quiet between tracks, letting every nuance of Gil Evans's arrangements breathe. Side B's groove really locks in during the percussion breakdowns.

I was blown away by how rich the brass sounds on this pressing, really captures the orchestral depth. The vinyl itself feels substantial and plays without any surface noise.

The pressing is dead quiet and the Gil Evans brass sounds incredibly full on my turntable. This 12-inch standard option fits perfectly into my collection of jazz arrangements.
