Middle Cyclone

The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy, and the 12-inch pressing has a nice weight to it—no warping at all. Side one starts with that warm analog hum before Neko’s voice cuts in, which is exactly what I wanted from a vinyl copy.

The vinyl plays clean with barely a crackle, and the 12-inch weight gives it a solid feel on the turntable. Neko’s vocals really open up on the wide grooves, especially on the slower tracks.

The vinyl arrived flat and well-packed, and the pressing is clean with barely any surface noise. I’ve spun it three times already and the acoustic details really shine through on my turntable. A keeper for any Neko Case fan.
