處女航

Ron Carter’s basslines and Tony Williams’ drumming lock into this loose, breathing groove like they’re reading each other’s minds. The whole session feels alive, like you’re sitting in the room with them. My copy is dead quiet between tracks, which makes the dynamics hit even harder.

The piano intro alone is worth the price—Hancock's touch is so delicate and precise. The pressing is dead quiet, letting every cymbal splash and bass note breathe beautifully.

The way Ron Carter's bass lines weave through the title track on side A is pure magic, and Tony Williams' cymbal work sounds incredibly crisp on this pressing. I've owned this album on CD for years, but the vinyl really brings out the warmth and space in Herbie Hancock's piano chords. A fantastic ad
