Lucro Sucio Los Ojos Del Vacio

The pressing is dead quiet, which lets the chaotic layers breathe perfectly. I've spun it three times already and each listen reveals something new in the mix.

The gatefold sleeve feels sturdy, and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks—perfect for a band that thrives on dynamic shifts. It’s been over 20 years and they still manage to surprise me, especially on side two where the chaos melts into something almost melodic.

The vinyl arrived in perfect condition, and that gatefold sleeve captures the album's dense, moody artwork beautifully. Side A’s opener hits hard, and I think this ninth album shows Mars Volta still has plenty of reinvention left.
