LOVE RUDIMENTS

Side A kicks off with that raw fuzzy energy I was hoping for, and the full-size 12-inch format really lets the low-end breathe. The vinyl itself arrived flat and well-centered, which is always a relief.

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which makes the fuzzy guitar parts hit even harder on my setup. Side A flows straight into side B without a skip, and the 12-inch format gives the drums plenty of room to breathe.

The bass really comes through on this pressing, giving the whole album a fuller, warmer sound than the digital version I'd been listening to. Side B in particular has this raw energy that just demands to be played loud.
