流亡之愛

The interplay between Arooj Aftab's voice and Vijay Iyer's piano on this 12-inch is absolutely mesmerizing, and the vinyl itself is dead quiet between tracks. I’ve had it on heavy rotation since it arrived.

The triple collaboration here is pure magic on vinyl, the pressing captures every subtle texture in Arooj’s voice and Vijay’s piano work. I’ve had it on repeat all weekend and the 12-inch format lets the whole room breathe with the sound.

The pressing quality is surprisingly good for a modern release, quiet and clear between tracks. I just wish the gatefold had more liner notes about the collaboration.
