The rap-rock pivot is so unexpected that I had to double-check I was listening to the same artist, but it absolutely works. The Y2K-tinged production hits hard on vinyl, and the pressing sounds crisp with zero surface noise.

I’ve never heard Toro y Moi lean this hard into rap-rock, and the vinyl really brings out the crunch in those distorted guitars. The gatefold sleeve has a cool holographic effect that shifts as you tilt it.

The vinyl pressing captures the low-end so well on tracks like "Go With That" that it feels like a different record entirely. I've been spinning this nonstop since it arrived.
