Her Majesty The Decemberists

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the vinyl captures the warmth of the older brother vibe described—it really brings out the charm of the album. The pressing feels solid and plays without any pops or crackles, which is a nice bonus.

Finally, a vinyl pressing that does justice to the record's layered production—the bass is warm and clear without a hint of distortion. I've been spinning side one on repeat, and the way the tracks flow together feels exactly like meeting that charming older brother the description promised.

The vinyl itself arrived well-packaged and plays cleanly with no surface noise. I’d say the songwriting is a bit more polished than their first record, though a couple of tracks feel slightly long. Still a solid addition to any indie folk collection.
