Halloween: 40th Anniversary Edition (Original Soundtrack)

The main theme hits so clean on vinyl, that minimalist piano line just fills the room and sets the whole eerie mood perfectly. I’ve spun it three times already this week and the packaging alone is worth it for any fan of the film.

The 180-gram pressing feels substantial in my hands, and the artwork on the gatefold is stunning—brings back so many memories of watching the film. I’ve spun it three times already and the sound is crisp, capturing that eerie synth perfectly.

I've been after a good pressing of this score for ages, and the 40th anniversary set finally delivers a clean, quiet vinyl that lets those haunting Carpenter synths breathe. The packaging alone, with its faithful art, makes it feel like a proper collector's piece.
