Giant Steps (180g Vinyl)

The vinyl is dead quiet between tracks, which makes Coltrane's saxophone really cut through. I can hear details in the bassline I never noticed on my old copy.

The 180g vinyl feels substantial and the pressing is dead quiet, letting Coltrane's saxophone really breathe. I've listened to it three times already today.

Crackled-free and flat from the first spin, this 180g pressing gives the bass lines a warmth that really anchors the whole session. I’ve played side A three times already and the dynamic range on "Giant Steps" still surprises me.
