Category: 7 Inch Vinyl Record

Waits’ gospel moans on this alternate take give me chills every time I spin it—the raw emotion is almost overwhelming. The B-side is a great bonus for any collector who wants to hear a different side of this classic track.

Avery N. ★★★★★ Oct 18, 2026

This raw, stripped-down version hits way harder than the album cut — just Waits' voice and that haunting piano. The vinyl itself is dead quiet, which lets every moan and crackle come through perfectly. An essential pick for anyone who loves the raw side of his work.

Lucy ★★★★☆ Oct 20, 2026

The stripped-down arrangement really lets the raw emotion in his voice carry the whole track. Pressing quality feels solid, and I like that it's a true alternate take rather than just a live version. Wish the B-side had a bit more to it, but for collectors this is a nice addition.
