Nicholas ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

I was genuinely surprised by how good the Dan Bodan remix sounds on this 180g vinyl—it’s got a depth that streaming just doesn’t capture. The raw materials from 2004-2015 have this gritty, unfiltered energy that makes it feel like you’re discovering something fresh. Perfect for late-night listens.

The transparent sleeve feels like a nice archival touch, and the Arthur Russell cover is a genuine highlight that fits the raw energy of these lost sessions.

The 180g pressing feels solid enough, but the sound is a bit flat on my system compared to newer records I own. The Arthur Russell covers are the highlight here, though the raw 2004-2015 tracks are hit or miss in quality.
