Excess CD

I was hooked from the first track—the dystopian sci-fi themes paired with that catchy electronica sound make it perfect for a late-night drive. The lyrics about 70s corporate excess are surprisingly relevant today, and it’s been on repeat all week.

The production on this album is really crisp, especially the way the synths cut through on the dystopian tracks. My only nitpick is the booklet could've used more liner notes, but the music itself is a solid evolution from Signal.

I was hoping for a few more bangers like on Signal, but Excess still hits that dystopian synth vibe perfectly. The track about climate change is especially catchy. Solid listen for fans of the genre.
