鑽石狗 (50週年紀念半速母帶)

The vinyl itself is dead quiet between tracks, which lets the raw theatricality of the album shine through without any surface noise. I was actually surprised by how much more present Garson’s piano sounds on this pressing compared to my old copy.

The half-speed mastering really brings out the crispness in the guitar on "Rebel Rebel" — it’s like hearing it for the first time. The vinyl itself is dead quiet between tracks, no pops at all. A fantastic package for any Bowie fan.

I’ve been listening to this pressing for a week straight and the quiet vinyl surface lets every little detail in the mix breathe. The half-speed cut really opens up the theatrical layers on "Sweet Thing" that I never noticed on older copies.
