Devourer

The gatefold sleeve is sturdy and the vinyl itself came perfectly flat with no warps—a relief for collectors. Side B’s transition into the title track is pure chaos in the best way.

The bass on side A sounds a bit muddy compared to the digital version, but the overall energy of the recording is still there. I was hoping for a cleaner pressing given how explosive the album is supposed to be.

The pressing is decent but there's some surface noise during quieter parts of the album, which is a bummer since the band's energy really comes through on the heavier tracks. It's a solid release for a longtime fan, just not their best work.
