Carousel (CD)

The booklet art and packaging design perfectly match the lo-fi, introspective mood of villagerrr’s music on this CD. Each track flows into the next without a single skip, making it ideal for late-night listening sessions.

I’ve been playing this CD non-stop since it arrived — the mastering is crisp and really lets villagerrr’s layered production shine. It’s a solid addition to the SUPERJUMBO catalog, and the disc itself has a nice weight to it.

The packaging is really clean and fits the calm, lo-fi vibe of the album perfectly. I wish the tracklist was printed on the back cover instead of just a sticker, but the music itself is exactly what I was hoping for.
