The vinyl pressing is nice and quiet between tracks, and the album’s energy really comes through on the opener. Glad I grabbed this on wax for the full experience.

Took a chance on this because I’m a sucker for the band’s older stuff, and it’s got that same raw energy but polished just enough. The vinyl itself is clean, no skips, though I wish it came with a lyric sheet — had to look up a few lines online. Still, a solid spin on a Sunday afternoon.

The album itself is solid Kings of Leon, no doubt, but my copy arrived with a slight warp on the outer edge that causes a faint wobble on the last track of side one. Packaging is decent and the 12-inch pressing feels sturdy otherwise, just wish the QC was a bit tighter for a new record.
