Ambivalent (Selected Works 1994-2022)

Pulled the trigger on this after hearing a track at a friend's place, and the vinyl pressing is dead quiet—no surface noise at all. The 12-inch format really lets the deeper cuts breathe compared to digital versions I'd streamed before.

Finally got this on vinyl, and the 12-inch pressing sounds incredibly warm and full compared to the digital versions I'd been listening to. The track selection spanning from 1994 to 2022 gives a great sense of his evolution, and the standard edition packaging is clean and sturdy.

The tracklist is a solid overview of his career, though the mastering feels a bit flat compared to the original CD versions I own. A worthwhile collection for a fan, but it won't replace my digital copies.
