The vinyl arrived in perfect condition, and the way the 18 tracks flow into that 55-minute song cycle is genuinely immersive. I’ve been playing side A on repeat, each first-person narrative pulling me deeper into the stories.

I was nervous a 55-minute song cycle would drag, but the way the first 14 tracks bleed into each other keeps the tension alive the whole time. The first-person lyrics really hit differently when you know each one is tied to a real, reported event—it makes the whole record feel urgent.

The first 14 tracks flowing into one continuous piece is exactly what I hoped for, and the pressing itself is clean with almost no surface noise. Each song really does make you feel like you’re inside those news stories.
