72 Seasons (2LP Midnight Violet Vinyl)

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which really lets the riffs breathe on tracks like "Lux Æterna." The midnight violet vinyl itself is a stunner under good light, and the 2LP split means no awkward side-length compromises.

The midnight violet color looks even better in person than on screen — deep and shimmery under the light. Side one had zero surface noise on my turntable, and the 180g weight keeps it flat. A solid pressing for any Metallica collection.

The gatefold sleeve is sturdy and holds the discs securely, and the midnight violet color has a subtle shimmer under light that looks great on my shelf. Sound quality is crisp and punchy right out of the shrink wrap.
