(NYLON)

- (VICE) #8 專輯 of 2017 (Gorilla vs. Bear)

Sebastian I. ★★★★★

The vinyl itself has a nice weight to it, and the pressing is clean with almost no surface noise. I wasn’t expecting the B-side to hit quite as hard emotionally, but that “saddest song” really lives up to the description.

Evelyn ★★★★★

The broody tone really comes through on wax, and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which makes the moody lyrics hit harder. Side B’s flow feels like a proper coming-of-age arc, exactly as the description hints.

Andrew Z. ★★★★☆

The vinyl itself is pressed clean and plays without any skips, and the broody tone comes through really well on my setup. I just wish the sleeve had a lyric sheet included since the themes are so layered, but the record's still a solid listen.
