I was curious how this album would sound on vinyl, and the pressing is surprisingly clean with no surface noise. The 2016 release really shines on a 12-inch record, bringing out layers in the production I missed on streaming.

I’ve been a fan since The Fame, and Joanne on vinyl finally does her raw vocals justice—the acoustic guitars on "Million Reasons" sound incredibly clear. This pressing captures the intimate, stripped-back production way better than streaming ever could.

The vinyl pressing has a nice weight to it, and the sound quality is noticeably cleaner than my old digital version of this album. I forgot how raw and personal some of these tracks feel when you hear them without compression.
