Sung Tongs

The pressing feels hefty and quiet, so the rural Colorado recording comes through with all its loose, live energy intact. I've spun it three times already and the adventurous pop still surprises me on each listen.

The recording’s raw, live-in-the-room sound really brings out the adventurous energy of the pop arrangements. Side A’s flow kept me glued to my turntable.

The pressing is dead quiet, and "Leaf House" sounds so much warmer on vinyl than it ever did streaming. You can really hear the room they recorded in — that rural Colorado house comes through on every track. Easily the best-sounding record I've picked up this year.
