I was really impressed with the album art—the sleeve feels sturdy and the design pops way more than I expected from a standard 12-inch. The record plays clean with no skips or surface noise right out of the package.

I’d been listening to this album digitally for a while, but hearing it on 12-inch vinyl gives the dynamics so much more room to breathe. The surface noise is minimal right out of the sleeve, and the whole pressing feels solid.

I’ve always loved Maps & Atlases, and this 12-inch pressing of Lightlessness Is Nothing New sounds incredibly crisp and warm on my turntable. The vinyl itself had no surface noise at all out of the sleeve. It’s exactly what I was hoping for from this release.
