Drain (CD)

I popped the CD in and the track flow is incredibly cohesive, with Vorhex Angel's layered sound really shining through. The packaging art matches the dark, atmospheric vibe perfectly.

The album art on the insert is darker and more textured than I expected, which fits the music perfectly. It arrived securely packaged and the disc plays without any skipping issues right out of the case. The whole experience of listening through feels like a solid, well-kept release.

The disc itself has a clean matte finish that feels nice to handle. The mastering on this edition gives the low end more punch compared to the digital version I'd been listening to. Packaging is minimal but sturdy enough for shipping.
