Chelsea Town Hall

The weight of that harmonium drone fills the room like a slow fog, and Nico’s voice cuts through it with a chill I didn’t expect from a 12-inch pressing. The surface is dead quiet between tracks, which lets the eerie silences breathe exactly as they should.

Nico’s harmonium on this recording creates such an unsettling atmosphere, it’s like nothing else I own. The vinyl itself feels heavy and well-pressed, with no surface noise during the quieter moments.

The harmonium backing is so haunting it gives me chills every time I spin side one, and Nico's voice cuts through like nothing else in my collection. I've already played this three times tonight and can't get the melodies out of my head.
