Yield CD

I put this album on after years of not hearing it and was immediately struck by how the raw guitar tones still punch through the mix. The disc itself was well-packed and plays without any skips, which is all I really need from a physical CD.

Pulling this out of the case after years of digital listening, the liner notes and artwork make it feel like a proper album again. The track sequence flows perfectly from start to finish.

The mix on this CD sounds noticeably cleaner than the compressed digital versions I’ve been used to, and the booklet brings back that old-school album experience. It’s been on repeat in my car for a week now.
